The Chattanooga Southeast Tennessee Film Commission serves as an office providing access to information, government permits, a locations database, and facilitation of needs to be addressed or responded to through the Tennessee Entertainment Commission.

Coordinated by Production Liaisons Chris Holley and Kris Jones, and serving as an outreach of the City of Chattanooga Department of Community Development, the Commission has recruited multiple high-profile projects, ranging from national ad campaigns for major brands such as Volkswagen, to the American Idol television series, to major feature films such as ‘42’: The Jackie Robinson Story.

The purpose of the Commission is to assist film production companies in obtaining the resources they need to make their project a success – be it locations, permits, talent, or equipment, in a timely and efficient manner.
